So, I'm thinking of buying some monistat next time I get paid. I'm currently growing out black dye from my hip-length hair and I'm willing to do anything to speed up the process. Even if that means putting vagina cream in my hair. :X

But I'm at a loss of how to apply it to my hair when I get it. Does monistat come in multiple forms? Which should I buy? How do you apply it? Will it make my hair greasy when I put it on? Do I leave it in for a while and wash it out? Or do I leave it in for the whole day? Help!

You need to buy the kind in the tube.

This post (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showpost.php?p=355323&postcount=915) from the monistat thread (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=156&highlight=monistat+dare+start&page=370) is rather helpful.

Don't worry about feeling weird. It is not like the stuff is made out of vaginas, no one can smell it, or tell that it is on your head.

I would recommend trying to find 4% miconazole nitrate.
Many users don't notice any change from 2% from what I have read here and there.
You can also buy the whole Monistat pack that has the cream, and the little weird ovules. You just pop them or cut a slit in them and squeeze them into whatever you wish.

I like to mix mine up in an old makeup powder container. I put it all in at once (cream and ovules), and dilute it with a little water, so it is not watery, but it is still a creamy consistency, but still diluted. I also like to put some tea tree oil in my mix. It is a really great tingley feeling. I have been using it for 2 weeks, I must say...I hardly notice a difference at all. I usually apply at night, and wash the next day, or apply after washing, then wash the next day. I am a daily washer though, weather it be normal shampoo and conditioner, or CO.
