Fall/Spring Shedder

I know that we often talk about Summer and Winter sheds but I honestly shed so little during those months. What I HAVE noticed though, is that Im a heck of a shedder during the Spring and Fall seasons. I guess I fall in line with the animals and grow and shed my Summer and Winter coat before the seasons begin...LOL

Anyone else she during these seasons and not the others?

That's how I look at it- a Fall and Spring shed is more aligned with the animal world and I'd rather be a cat any day. I've always been confused why my shedding pattern is the opposite, too. Maybe it has to do with when you were born? I was born in the fall but I guess that's a silly theory. I hope someone can really SHED some light on this.

I've only *ever* heard of fall/spring sheds, not of winter/summer sheds.

I've read the same thing here about sheds being summer/ winter, but I'm definitely a spring/fall shedder.

Picotee, I don't think that's silly, I was actually thinking the same thing. I was born at the end of November.
