Help with Measuring?

So I'm going to try and start measuring my hair, which I've never done before.

I've searched the forums and also read the article on measuring, but I found it a bit vague.

"We get a tape measure. Comb or brush your hair straight. Put the end of the tape measure where your hair and forehead meet. Measure over the top of your head and down the length."

Does this mean measure from my forehead and then down my back? It's probably me being a bit silly, but I just can't seem to get my head around it!!

If anyone's got any pictures on how to properly measure hair that would be great! I learn better through pictures! :laugh:

Sounds like you've got it right.
I dont have any pics but what you said is correct. Put the end of the tape at your hairline on your forehead, then the tape goes over your head, like following the line of you're parting, then down the back of the head to wherever your hair finishes. I get the other half to help me, its easier!
