View Full Version : Glamorous updo suggestions

Hi Ladies

I'm going to a wedding on Friday and can't decide what to do with my hair. I want something glam and unusual. My hair is just short of waist length and medium to thick. I have at my disposal a pair of maplewood Ketylo sticks, a large red Ficarre (my shoes and bag will be red so this is the favourite) and a black corian wavy hairstick from Ravenslair. Any suggestions what I could try?

also there was one vintage hair bun video, that looked lovely, but I couldn't remember the title and find it, so I'll just explain and show you, how it's done- 1. put an elastic one, make a nice ponytail
2. section it in 3 (or more) parts
3. wrap each part starting from ends up to roots (first the middle section, than both sides), and pin them on the top of elastic- here are the pics (pardon the non-brushed hair and messiness ;))

This is sort of self-promoting, so forgive me ;) but I think my "Briar Rose Bun" would be good for a wedding guest. You can co-ordinate the ribbon and rose with your outfit!

Check out Torrin Paige's You Tube videos. Lots of ideas there!

What about Nightshade's Romantic Ficcare Updo (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=187)? :)
