I'm in desperate need of another cassia treatment and I'll be in manhattan today. Does anyone know of which stores carry cassia in manhattan? I'll be in midtown.

I don't think there are any in midtown, but I found cassia once at an Indian grocery somewhere in the city.
I can't remember where.

Vanilla, you can find it at any of the Indian groceries (around 6th Street between 1 and 2nd Aves., Lexington Ave and 28th St. and in Jackson Heights, Queens). They have Hesh brand cassia, which comes in little boxes (very inexpensive).

Another, pricier option is Flower Power Herbs and Roots (http://www.flowerpower.net/) at 406 E. 9th Street. I believe that they sell it as "neutral henna." They sell all of their herbs in bulk. :flower:
