I don't think I've ever started an anniversary thread- and I probably never would have except that the albums still aren't working. Seems weird to post progress pictures since I haven't reached my goal yet- but here goes.
My hair hasn't gained much length in the last few years as I have been recovering from several over eager experiments. Despite experience, I can never seem to talk myself out of trying something new :p
My hair in 2008 just a few months before that first disastrous chop.

I initially joined after I asked for hair cut ideas for my BSL hair and a friend linked me to this site in hopes I would change my mind about cutting. I joined to look at some of the awesome hair she was gushing about, but couldn't see any of the pictures since I was new. I went through with my hair cut and the woman butchered my hair, which was my first ever bad experience at a salon.
I returned to this site in earnest, depressed and angry about the state of my hair.
2008 My first picture taken for LHC, the hair cut the brought me here to stay :)

2009 my 1 year at LHC- growing out all my previous dye damage and trying to get back to my natural hair color.

2010 still growing out my natural hair color and trimming off damage, but just a few weeks before I used henna.

2011 First year with Henna and finally moving on from BSL

2012 Finally- where I am today. Growing out the layers I couldn't resist giving myself in 2011, finally got rid of the last of the dye damage from 08-09, growing out my post-partum shed from 09-10 and trying to reach TBL which has been my goal for the last 4 years lol.

So there it is. My 4 years at LHC. :D
