Usually I do my final hair rinse with ACV, but I always keep a lot of white vinegar around for cleaning, and I'm thinking about trying that instead. Has anyone else tried both and noticed any kind of difference between them?

No difference except the smell. If they're both 5% acidity, they have the same pH and the same action on the hair.

Maybe a little odd but I prefer the smell of ACV. I use the braggs brand.

I like white vinegar better. It's cheaper and for some reason my hair just responds to it better than ACV

I thought I got a golden cast from the ACV on my light blonde hair, so I switched to white vinegar. Otherwise no difference.

I like white vinegar and Acv. I do a rinse about once a week with a little of each in the rinse. Trying to see what ind of highlights I can get. So far my hair looks glowy.

ACV stinks up a storm where white vinegar is just... vinegary. White vinegar also doesn't stain blond hair redish. I use both because I have both but when I finished my bottle of ACV I'm not getting a new one. Urgh, the STINK!
