I've had my MP BBB for 4 months now & I'm still not sure if I'm getting all the benefits from it....
It makes my hair shiny, but very much bordering on greasy looking.
It makes my hair lie flat, really flat. I have no idea how to get volume from it!
It *does* distribute my oils/sebum to the ends of my hair and I love that.
But because of the above I can only use it if my hair is going to be slicked back into a bun for a week.
What do you use your BBB for, and how do you get/make the most out of it? :)

I have had mine for almost a year and I am wondering if I am using it right too.
I sent Madora a visitor message today asking :) She knows so much about them.
I only use it for the purpose of scalp massage and distributing sebum really. I usually section my hair off and use it that way. I use it as more of a "polishing" tool. It is impossible to even really "brush" your hair with it.

My Goody bbb is my favorite hair tool because it does so many things:
1) distributes my hair's natural sebum
2) removes dirt/lint from my scalp and hair
3) exercises my hair follices (I brush in the bent position)
4) over time, has made my hair soft and shiny
I wish Goody still made that brush!

Thank you, Madora. :)
Is it alright to use every day?
I love the way it makes my hair feel but I always worry about (mechanical?) damage.

Unless your hair is curly, or recovering from heat damage, brushing every day with your bbb is good for your hair. Just always be sure to detangle before using the brush and brush slowly.
It helps to be consistent with the actual strokes...if you do 20 a day, do it daily.
It's also more beneficial if you do it when you get up in the morning (if possible) rather than wait until evening.

They don't? My BBB is a Goody. I've had it for years, some of the bristles are broken. :( I rarely use it.

Thank you, I'll put this into practice. :flower:

It enables me to really stretch washes... Making it very soft and much less greasy, almost refreshed. It seems to make a lot of poof though, especially if I do it flipped over.

Mine always makes my hair look more greasy and a strange texture where its stuck together but fluffy.
I can use it at night but not during the day.
