I am following you! I like your food for hair board. So, why wooden combs? I know you need a wide tooth comb, but I didn't know material mattered.

It has a few flat iron styles, but I pinned those before I stopped using my flat iron as much.

Some plastic combs have a thin seam on the tips of the teeth, this can catch and snag on hairs. Plastic combs can also cause static creating the dreaded 'FRIZZ'.

I really enjoyed this! Lots of fashion shots. Want to hear something odd? I keep wanting to cut my hair shorter because I want a more fashion-forward/sexy look like I see all the time in photo shoots but I think that's just because I don't get to see long hair in the same context. It's not the length that is the problem ... I saw quite a number of classic length young/fashionable heads there.

This exactly! I love the long hair I see here but these shots really glamorize it in the same way shorter styles get glamorized.

Consider yourselves all followed. This (http://pinterest.com/eepiphanies/hair/) is mine, most of it is pre-LHC so the advice on brushes, etc, is clearly to be ignored. I predict I'll have a lot more material for it now.

I would caution you to be careful of violating copyright laws. I see the first photo is a group photo of me and others on an artist's art video project. Probably not the worst sort of violation, but it is copyright protected. We just went through that copyright situation and got it all settled. And if you cite it, you might like to know it is NOT a photo still from the movie itself. But the artist is Mika Rottenberg, and I don't know how it's copyrighted per se but it was taken at the end of filming, and we were told it was to be a nice memento from our time on the set. It is a beautiful photo, though, so I can see why it's inspirational to you. I would just be careful. Some people are bigger sticklers than me and others. It is best to ask permission, if you're in doubt. Also, some of those photos are featuring fake hair, as in extensions or wigs for their costume.

But overall, a nice collection of nice photos.

Sorry to rain on your parade....you just can never be too careful.
