I'm not sure if my ends are thinning or maybe its the light. Luckily i had blood test this week to see if i am allergic to gluten and to check my iron level and thyroid function .

The first picture was taken today i did put coconut on on the ends last night could it be that maybe, the second picture is also from today but looks thicker

It looks like the lighting to me. I have the same hair type and this happens to me too. I do have layers so that may also be the problem for me. I love your hair though. :)

The thinning is only at the ends, as far as I can see, Bunzfan. Perfectly normal.

Your hair in the last picture seems thicker and fuller. Did you brush or comb it (as compared with the first picture)?

Thanks for replying i still have some layering 2 inches from the ends so maybe that accounts for it. Thank you.

Thank you i have been worried because a few months back i did shed a lot for me for about 6 weeks and as i am tired a lot and don't put on weight easily i went to see the dr i will know tomorrow if their is a problem.

I think the ends look thinner in the photo with the striped shirt because the light is from the side and it makes those stripes pop so it's easier to see through the ends.

Maybe you could be right. I did put some dry shampoo on today as i realised later on a lot of my hair was oily so maybe sticking to each other more and it appeared much better. Phew i can tell you it scared me for a moment.

That's good news! Fingers crossed you'll be ok with the gluten as well.

Stripes make most people's ends look much thinner, unless you have a super blunt hemline, it just happens.:)

I think its the light making it look thinner.

I have this with the top front part of my hair. In my bathroom light (which comes from behind my head) it looks thinner and my scalp seems to be showing more.

However in every other lighting situation it looks perfectly normal.

I think it is probably the lighting in the picture and that maybe they were clumping a bit more in the first picture.

Bunzfan,I have the same thing,my guess is because we're curlies the curly ends clump together.I would love a thick solid straight across hair line but that's not going to happen! Love your hair, don't cut!

I was thinking the same once i put some oil on the top layer to weigh it down it didn't look as thin at the bottom, my hair always was flyaway as a child i wouldn't cut anything to drastic unless it was really thin but, thank you. If i cut it shorter it may look a bit thicker but i would still want it longer so i would end up being frustrated.
