Changed my mind and got a trim!

Finally gave in and got a trim! I hadn't gotten my hair trimmed in about 2 years until yesterday. I got an inch taken off, and I love it! I hadn't been trimming my hair for religious reasons, but my perspective on that subject has recently changed. My freshly trimmed hair is my new siggy pic. :)

MrsGuther, your hair is lovely. I understand not cutting hair for religious reasons. I believe it's ok for a season. But, there is a time for everything...a time for not cutting and a time for cutting. Now you've had both experiences. Change can be good.

I recently trimmed about 3.5 inches of my length, because that much of it was thin, scraggly, and uneven. I wish my hair had looked as good as yours after trimming only an inch. I tried just an inch at first, but a few days later I just had to take off more, because an inch was not enough.
