Where I live we are having a nasty heatwave and I'm actually sweating alot and my hair get's yucky sweaty throughout the day :o I have been trying different styles to wear it up off my neck but it still get's sweaty lol. Now I'm wondering how often should I wash it in this heat and with the sweat on my scalp?? Also should I do more oil treatment to help keep my hair moisturized??
It's also a bit humid as well. TIA :)

Where I live it is really dry, so I tend to CO my hair every day and enjoy the cooling effect of a damp bun. Not sure what will help in the humidity, perhaps some humectants?

I damp bun my hair and tuck ice cubes in the folds of the hair if I'm going outside. i also make sure I have either a scarf or a hat on. if I'm going out in the garden for a bit I'll wring out a scarf in cold water then wrap my head in that.

Damp bunning is working wonders for me as well.

I wear a low braided bun. I won't even wear it down until it cools off. I live in the high desert.
I wash my hair once a week & one scalp wash.
