What is the length/ functional length on the awesome dragon?

The dragon stick is 4.5' functional, 7.5" total. I was going to twist the top part around itself to shorten it a bit, but I never got around to it before shaving my head for the chemo - would be easy to do, though. It's a neat stick, very unusual.

These sticks would also make great gifts for people newer to hairstick use, and for younger hairstick users/ teens in middle school, because of their shorter lengths - they're easy to handle.
