What does it say in the ingredients? Really you want virgin coconut oil which is white and solid when cool and a milky/clear liquid when warm

Oh and also, I find that when washing oil out of hair conditioner works better than shampoo. I apply the conditioner to dry/oiled hair about 10mins before I get into the shower then rinse the whole lot off

I'm not sure but I do know that coconut oil is white and in solid/hard form when it's near room temperature... So you have to melt it in your hands before applying it to your hair.

Is this (http://www.amazon.com/Organic-Root-Stimulator-Coconut-Oil/dp/B0030F4TZO) the product? If so, the ingredients are:

Petrolatum, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Microcrystalline Wax, Cyclomethicone, Isopropyl Myristate, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, PEG-150 Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, PEG-20 Hydrogenated Lanolin, PEG-40 Stearate, Lanolin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Parfum (Fragrance), Benzyl Benzoate, Coumarin, D-Limonene, Linalool, Methyl Ionone, Propylparaben, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, BHA, BHT.

When most people recommend coconut oil here, they're talking about 100% pure, nothing added, coconut oil - the same kind you'd cook with. :) Like this one (http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Way-Organic-Virgin-Coconut/dp/B003B3OOPA/ref=pd_bxgy_hpc_text_b), though there are many brands. You can get refined or unrefined - the unrefined has more of a scent, but they both work, it just depends on your scent preference.

^ Exactly what she said. You should be able to find it at almost any grocery store though if you want unrefined you may have to get it at a health food store. I have purchased various items over the past year of my hair journey that I never used again after trying once...but the coconut oil immediately became a staple in my hair care arsenal.
