To make it clear after my hair two weeks later I dyed my hair with semi perm dye.

I'd stop messing with it and grow it out. Easier said than done, I know... I've made my share of dumbass mistakes, lol. But if you could use scarves, pins, bands or clips, anything to make it fun and easier to deal with, if you care for it with good products, by thanksgiving it would probably grow quite a bit...

You should give it lots of moisture treatments and yes, growing out the damage is the best way to get rid of it.

All hair is dead :) The ends are just more prone to damaging because they're the oldest dead hair.

Then don't straighten it! Let your natural waves shine through. :)
I'm a little confused, what's a "Jodi?"

Hi, your hair sounds a lot like mind, so have you considered a feathered cut? it will distribute the volume making your hair appear a lot less frizzy...plus the stylist wouldn't need to cut off your length most of the work are done sideways :)

my hair looks like feather cut if u see the pic i posted of my back, i dont want to loose more length I guess ill take others advice and deal with it and prob by fall it will be back to normal, i been using monistat and seems it working, i just hate these layers it makes my hair my longest strands look not noticeable, except when my hairs in a pony tail my ponytail is by my bra strap, ugh its just depressing
