I finally got around to taking a picture of my hair air-dried, no handling...
I have more waves than I expected, but it's very frizzy & kinda crazy-looking to me :o
Any help & suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
(coloring in pic is off..)

I'm actually thinking more along the lines of 2a/2b.

I think it's either 2a or 2b! Probably 2a. Pretty waves!

Currently 1c/2a, but I see spirals forming so maybe with curly girl methods you could push it from waves to soft curls.

I meant to say probably 2b! sorry

I think probably a 2a/2b. If you want to encourage the waves, try to give it some more moisture and scrunch it next time you get it wet.

I think it is 2a! But who knows, maybe when its longer it will get even wavier. :)

I'd lean towards 2a, but if your hair reacts well to more moisture it might be more like 2b or 2c. While the number of waves is not a whole lot different than what I see in my own hair at that length, yours are visibly a lot greater in amplitude. You also have a lot more wave visible in your sig pic than I would. On my hair, I can often finger comb my waves out completely, so the overall look is totally straight. All of those details suggest to me that you're not 1c and that a 2a type might be too low.

This goes double because you're typing yourself as F... usually fine hair is relatively easy to con into a straight appearance, so your sig pic clinches that you're not a 1 of any sort.

I will vote for 2a since that is what your hair looks at this point in time. :) I agree with the others to try more wave-friendly care methods. :flower:

I'd guess 2a or 2b - and I suspect you may be able to encourage that waviness!:D

I decided to put down 1c/2a, although I probably got more "votes" for 2a. Reason being most of the waves disappear as soon as I handle my hair even slightly after dried. It ended up looking almost identical to my sig. pic.
Would this then be correct typing?

Thanks guys!

I agree with the people that say 1c/2a .
