Well, I have now officially been on LHC and growing actively for two years. When I joined LHC, my hair wasn't in bad condition - I'd never heat styled, blow-fried, teased, or dyed. I did neglect it a bit; my routine was shampoo, condition, rip through with a brush while wet, and move on. For the most part, though, it was pretty healthy.
Here's my hair in July 2010:

It was about shoulder length. The lighting in that picture is pretty awful, so here's another from August:

As you can probably see, although it wasn't majorly damaged, it wasn't that great either. It was frizzy, mostly because of broken hairs, and it wasn't shiny and glossy like I wanted it to be. (I know shine mostly depends on the light, but that's not quite what I mean... I think glossy is probably the best word for it.) And it was too short!

Two years later, here is my latest length shot:

I'm going to be a little vain for a minute: Isn't it beautiful? :D I am in love with my hair! I have some wacky bun waves going on in this picture, but I am normally a straighty. It's so shiny and glossy, as well as silky smooth... And much longer! My hands are at waist. The routine changes that have made the biggest difference for me include putting my hair in a bun to sleep at night (for most of the past two years I braided it... I only discovered this one recently!), CWC, and light oiling every time I comb my hair.

Also, as you can probably tell, I dyed my ends pink! I wanted to put some color in my hair, and decided that this was a low-impact way to do it - when I'm done with them, I can cut off the last two inches and lose any damage that was caused by the dye.

Here's a couple photos just for fun:

I love the dyed pink ends of your hair!!! I plan to do something similar when my hair grows out too since I never got to dye my hair before growing it out. Very pretty.

Your hair looks fabulous! It changed so much, growth-wise, shine-wise, health-wise (and color-wise, haha)! :D It looks like the waves got more defined, too, which is a definite plus!

Goldloli: I actually only trimmed once, back in September, and cut about two inches off. I'm lucky to have hair that's very strong and doesn't split very much!

And thank you so much, everyone! :)
