Hi. I'm sure there's s thread about this already on the forum but I could not find it..I'm looking for a gentlest possible method for wet set curls. I'm a vintage styled girl and would preferably have my hair curled every single day. I've used pin curl sets but those hair pins damage my hair. I've tried many kinds of clips and curles. I have these satin covered soft sponge rollers which I guess are the gentlest I've found so far...but I would love to hear if you guys have any tips?

But ALSO I'm wondering about curling wet hair in general. Doesn't hair stretch a little when wet? So I was wondering if hair shrinks back when it dries? Or what happens? I would love to know :) If hair is curled when wet can it damage hair?

I would otherwise just braid my hair when wet but that way the ends stay straight...not a look I'm looking for really...and either way I like curls rather than waves..

Thanks in advance for any tips!

I don't know if this would work with really straight hair, but you could try the curly girl method.
