Hi all, sorry if there is already a thread for this but I thought I'd start my own to keep track of what I'm doing.
I only just joined, but lurked for a few weeks haha. I used to have my hair dyed red with Chi organic, ammonia-free colours but this was becoming rather expensive :-(
So after lots of research and testing, I ordered some BAQ henna and went for it 2 weeks ago. My hair was a rather faded orangey-red to start with, and the henna turned out beautiful.
It is little dark now since it's settled, which brings me to where I started: a soap cap. I've been researching and I'm going to test it out to see if I can get a nice dark copper. I'm only wanting to lift a very small amount. I'll take some photos for when I'm able to post pictures.
Recipe I plan to use:
2 tsp bleach powder
20 Vol developer
Equal amount of shampoo
I'll just do it while I'm in the shower so probably leave it on for 3 to 5 mins MAX.
Of course, I'll be strand testing first :)
Does anyone else do this or something similar? What were your results? Recipe?
