There were a few threads like this, but they were all really old, so I thought I'd start a new one :lol: ^ ^

Who's your hair idol? It could be a celebrity,a LHC member, a family member,a friend even a fictional character! Do post pictures. ^ ^

OK, so I have quite a few hair idols.
When I was little I would watch this animated TV show called Winx. And one of the main characters was called Bloom(she was born on the same day as me) and she had beautiful waist-length(I guess) orange hair. I've always wanted hair like like hers!
Now for the real people:
I really wish my hair was like Isilme's - the colour, the length, the texture, I just love them all!
I also love Amber_Maiden's & the.fee.fairy's hair! (red, red, red!).
Who knows, maybe one day I'll have long red hair too!(like Ariel haha:inlove:)
Another great inspiration of mine is skyblue!! I really admire her&her great hair!:flower:

I have a few hair idols, Kat Von D, Maggie Q (off of Nikita) , Emma Watson, Kate Beckonsale, and Amy lee from Evanescence. I know some of them may use extensions or have shorter hair or longer hair but its still nice hair. :)

Don't have any hair idols, really. There are many people here whose hair I have seen that I admire. I very rarely to the point of almost never really admire an actor or actress's hair. Probably because Hollywood hair usually looks either too over-done and/or fake to my mind or it is nicely done hair on very average heads of hair. In the second case, I tip a nod of acknowledgement to it.

There are a few, though... Like Zoe from Firefly, for example. I always loved her hair.

But when I think, "Hair idol," I think of, "I'd like to have hair just like this person's!" And I have not yet seen the head of hair that I want to have - except in my mind. Close! I have seen close. Just... not quite.

Carry Fisher as Princess Leia in Star Wars when she had her hair down, I think it was the first time I ever saw such long hair, or at least it's the first time I remember seeing it and thinking it was sooo long and lovely when it was down. I think I was about three at the time. I know that was my Halloween costume that year. I thought that somehow my hair would be like that for the night rather than the really bad "prince valiant" my mom kept my hair in till I rebelled at age eight.

Nicole Kidman's hair in that movie is just so gorgeous. When I was younger I tried to have that hair cut and would straighten my hair every day to keep it like that. If I wish I had straight hair, it would be for that hair style alone (and don't even get me started on the color, it's just beautiful).

I just thought that if you've seen someone around here that has hair that looks just like your dream hair, then they'd become your hair idols...especially because people IRL usually don't have hair like LHC members do. (And because celebrities usually don't have lovely long red manes...like I wish I had :lol:)

I loved pratical magic hair, but a hair idol I had since little were actually the Bratz dolls. The dolls themselves have classic length hair, but in the movies, the hair sometimes reaches knee length.

Well, my mom's hair will always be my favorite! She has been experiencing problems these last 6 months, but before that she had always has SUPER THICK hair. And when she was younger it was long too. When she got married to my dad it was classic length and it was almost to her knees when she finally chopped it in the mid 80's. Sigh... she hasn't had long hair since.
