Wow, how elegant :D I only hope it's not irritating for the horse to have it that long :) (They should be nice and comfortable horsiepoos should be :agree:)

They likely braid it and the put it into a tail bag. :-)

Tis a splendid pony tail indeed!

i dunno. i feel sorry for the poor thing. you know it's tail never comes out of a bag. it can't swish it around. let a horse be a horse, says i. . .

I wonder how long it took her to grow it that long!

I found an article on her here : http://news.softpedia.com/news/The-Longest-Tail-Horse-12-5-ft-3-8-m-80541.shtml - It talks about how her owner takes care of her tail, etc.

I wouldn't like to be standing nearby when she's swishing at flies.

My mother used to have a horse (half Arab, half Lip) who had a GORGEOUS tail: ground-length and silver-white.
If we were showing him off, we'd have it loose, but we'd usually keep it brushed, braided and doubled, and in a cloth bag. That tail would pick up stains like you wouldn't believe!
