What makes a conditioner "heavy"? Are there particular ingredients to look for? If you want to recommend a personal fave that would be great, too. Cone or cone free-- either is fine. Thanks!

Goats milk conditioner! It's very thick, all natural, and works well! I use it for smt!

Oh wow, that looks awesome! I love that you can choose your own scent. Might have to pick me up some in Hippie Smoke. :D

So when we talk about "heavy" conditioners, are we talking about lots of oils?

Thank you!

Maybe, I think everyone has their own definition. My conditioners have a lot of oils because my hair won't tolerate leave in oils. Also, this condish is pretty thick, which I like if you want a heavy conditioning, especially if you're doing an hour long treatment like smt, it stays in your hair without running better. :D

I currently love the Herbal Essences "Hello Hydration" one, as it's quite smoothing (use it twice) and gives great slip to the hair. It's also a great rec for curlies or wavies. It's great if you're prone to frizz.

This one looks like a good one to try too. Dimethicone can be a bit heavy for me in a serum, but would be worth the try as a rinse out. Thanks!

The honeysucklerose conditioner from Aubrey is heavy :)

My hair takes longer to dry when I use it, my hair is smoothed down. A heavy conditioner is made with heavy oils & butters like shea butter or cocoa butter.

Long Hair Bear how do you get this conditioner out of the bottle? It is so thick and I really like it but can't get it out of the bottle. I leave the bottle upside down so it can run down to the top but it is still a "bear" to get it out. HELP!!
Thanks!!!

I took off the top and stirred it around with my finger. It helps! Also, if that doesn't do it, take the top off and squeeze some out that way. :D
