So I finally was a good girl and washed with a cleansing shampoo (aka sulphate) and nothing else. Is very difficult to have water dripping down your back all morning. It finally dried out so I got the hubby to (much against his will) take some pictures for me!

My hair is pretty wavy all over when it's wet, but as it dries the top layers straighten out, and the bottom ones stay wavy. I took pictures of the top and the bottom for you all :3 also ALMOST WAIST!! :guns:

Hm, I'm not good with the 1's, so take this with a huuuuge grain of salt, but I'd say 1c.

Id say your in the 1's and would place you as a 1b/c as your not poker straight! you also de[ite having layers have much thicker hair (or it looks so to me) than a ii, id put you more as a iii

I say 1b. Maybe I need to re type myself because I am much wavier than this and I consider myself a 1c but everyone is saying you are a 1c. I am just confused now:confused:

Hair has to have one or two waves for 1c, which you have at the canopy, and the hair under is wavier, so I agree with 1c/2a.

ETA: It could help if you gave us some more information about your hair. Like how does it usually look and feel. Does it get wavier if shorter? And such things. :)

Hm, I've never really had my hair short. When it was up to my shoulders I was much younger, and it was very straight but as I've gotten older its gone wavy. It usually looks pretty flat on top and then it gets a bit more volume thought the body. It doesn't have much lift on my scalp, much to my disappointment. uhm..? It's soft, and fine but dense (thick) :confused: I'm not sure really what to say lol. I will hold waves and curls from heatless curling methods but if I use an iron one side will be flat by the time I finish the other one, unless I use hair spray :/ but I don't use heat anymore so yeah... That's pretty much all I can think of lol.

Thank you all so much! After looking at my hair, what you all have told me here, and several other pictures I've decided to go with 2a for now. I think since my top layers are a bit more straight I can't quite get away with a legit 2a, but I'm hoping now that I know, I might be able to get the top layers to match the bottom!

Now that I've accepted my hair isn't "straight" like I always was told (husband says "your hair has always been wavy" :rolleyes:) maybe I can bring out the waves and be wavy all about. Hm.. *prods hair* I guess now I'll have to start reading about how to treat wavy hair!
