Schwarzkopf Live -- does it damage hair?

Hey! I've used Schwarzkopf Live colours in my hair before (http://www.schwarzkopf.com.au/skau/en/home/hair_colour/colour_products/live-salon.html). They're what we call a "rinse" here in Australia -- they last for 8 washes (more in my experience) and don't appear to be able to make hair lighter, only darker/add tones such as red. Does this mean that they don't bleach/damage hair, just add to it, then gradually wash out leaving hair as it was before?

Yes, this is exactly what it means :)
Those 6-8 washes colours never lighten or damage hair. Well, if one used them all the time they could dry hair a bit, as they often do contain washing agents like sulfates or coco-betaine, but that's all. (Not sure what the exact ingredients of this particular one are as we don't have it here, the Schwarzkopf Live we had looked quite different, and even that is now discontinued...)
