swimming and washing rountine??

Hello everybody, summer is here and I plan to swim everyday as my cardio exercise. However, in order to protect my hair from the cholrine I have to wet it put conditioner in it etc, which means I HAVE to wash my hair everyday. But I don't want my scalp to get used to everyday washing , Im afriad it will start to produce more oil than usual :/ Right now I wash every 2 days, my scalp is kind of oily by the 2nd day already. Any suggestions? should I just swim on the days I wash then?

I swim 5 days a week and co-wash after every swim. I can still easily go 8-10 days without washing if I'm not in the pool.
