Beet Root Powder as Dry Shampoo for Red Heads

So this just struck me as I am looking around at making a lip stain from beets. I am seeing a lot of recipes that use beet root powder as opposed to fresh beets like I wanted to use but then I thought since cocoa powder is being recommended as a dry shampoo for brunettes then maybe beet powder is what us red heads need. Anyone try it? I was not aware of beet powder before this.

I would be concerned about if it fell & got everywhere it would stain.

I don't know about dry shampoo. I don't think anyone treats cocoa as a dry shampoo. It doesn't remove dirt and oil, it just soaks it up so your hair doesn't look oily.

Love beets! They're tasty and I use them as a natural Easter egg dye, fuchsia on white eggs, maroon on brown. Good luck!
