I bought la Riche directions in tulip yesterday and used two pots for my BSL hair, and oh my it has come out wonderful and I didn't even have to bleach it, it's like a deep pink/purple and I love it , my hair was medium brown before!
Best of all these dyes are non oxidative and very conditioning! Love love love!
Has anyone used these types of dyes before and what is your experience ?

I used them about ten years ago on my bsl hair, and loved them. I'm planning to dye my mop again in about a month with Directions, but choosing a colour is hard. Tulip sounds gorgeous though...

I've never really loved the Directions range as I don't find the colours as vivid or long lasting as Pravana, Special Effects or Crazy Colour.

But tulip is a gorgeous shade, pics?!

Please post photos!
I used to use La Riche Directions. I think I prefer Special Effects though. I have used a lot of their colours on bleached hair, but they would always fade so quickly, but I didn't mind the upkeep so I continued to use them as they are half the price of Special Effects in Australia. Obviously on heavily bleached hair the conditioning effects were not very noticeable. My favourite colours from Directions are Lilac and Pastel Pink, both diluted with lots of conditioner!
