I got my hair cut! Layers, even!

Well, a trim, but still! Scissors were involved!

I haven't had a trim in 4 months or so, and the layers were shaped/cut for much shorter hair. It was starting to look a little awkward.

My great hairstylist trimmed a minimal amount off of the length, and then put in some long layers that give it a good amount of swing and a nice shape. I also had her trim up my long bangs. She curled it for my date night tonight, and oh! I wish it looked like this every day! I can't wait to wash it and see how it dries on its own!

You look gorgeous with those layers! That's great volume!!! Did the hairdresser use products and/or blowdrier brushing to get those results? I've always wanted that hairstyle from the hairdresser and it never ends up looking as good as your hair does.

Thanks SO much guys! I feel a million times better considering it was such a small trim overall! Date night was lovely, too. I am stuffed full of sushi right now!!

She did curl my hair a little bit, and it's got a TON of product in it right now (well, a little mousse and a bunch of hairspray). Not what I'd normally do to my hair by a long shot, but a few times a year won't kill me. It was worth it! Tomorrow I'll do a nice long oiling!
