Hair Update! Come See The Monster!

Sorry it's hard to see where exactly my hemline is on my body; my hair is so thick it doesn't like to lie down flat against my back. I'm about 5 inches from waist.

I'm so excited; I'm so close! My hair is virgin and I've been actively growing since March 2011.

I use Aura Cacia's Argan Oil (it is 100% pure and comes in a 2 ounce pump bottle) and I prefer it to other oils because it's very light, absorbs into my hair, does not look greasy at all, and it makes my hair feel soft with more slip than my conditioner does. It's good stuff. I just started using it about 4 months ago, before that I used jojoba.

She too has thick heavy hair like yours(we all say she has a brunette's hair rather than blond) do you have problems with putting it up or keepoing it in braids for long periods of time? DD says she gets headaches if it's not loose most of the time...

I get headaches if I do a poorly supported single bun. I usually wear my hair in two braids or a pencil bun, they are the most comfortable.

Beautiful hair! And from the perspective we're looking at, it actually looks closer to waist than 5" away (I have less than 5" to waist and mine is LOTS shorter).

(That being said, it's difficult to tell exactly where waist is on you...but suffice to say it looks pretty close).
