Hello,
I am seeking a leave-in conditioner with silicones, but only of the water soluble type.
Can anyone suggest a good one for me?
Thank you, BFG

I don't think one exists, but I may be wrong. How about using an oil?

Paul Mitchell The Detangler and its generic counterpart (which can be found at Sally's Beauty Supply) has PEG modified silicones which have been referred to as "water soluble" or at least easily removed without sulfates or even just conditioner only washing.
This is the generic link, which has the ingredients http://www.sallybeauty.com/gvp-detangler/SBS-264042,default,pd.html?cm_vc=SEARCH
I've used the generic one before and absolutely adored it. It just wasn't practical to keep ordering it online and there wasn't a Sally's that was close by.

ETA: woops, you said products, not just which silicones are water soluble... maybe it's helpful anyways? I avoid cones, so I can't really help other than this...

Oh shoot, just saw that you wanted a leave-in!
Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Serum has only water soluble cones. It's more of a gel though, with a high amount of glycerin. Hope this helps!

Ohh, I might have to look that up, I love Tigi's stuff.

Does anyone know of any other products with only water-soluble silicones? I'd love something like the Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Serum, but cheaper. It's too bad there aren't more products with just the water-soluble cones.

3 Cat Night, Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves Wave Enhancing Spray might be one with only water-soluble silicones. It has polyquaternium-4 and polyquaternium-11 in it and I'm not if those build-up or not.

Many leave in conditioners are not true conditioners - they are not rich in fatty alcohols or cationic surfactants. Many wash out conditioners can successfully be used as a leave in. Plenty of wavies and curlies use water soluble silicones, you might head over to NaturallyCurly and check out what they are using and rating.
