So i bought some tiny forks a few weeks ago because I couldn't resist their cuteness, but I have no idea how best to use them! They are made from recycled eating forks so are only 6cm useable length with 4 prongs. I have two of them.

My hair is MBL but I don't have a lot of thickness so I can get away with using sticks of 4inches usually, I've heard that with forks you can usually get away with going even shorter but i've never used any fork before.

I realise that i may have to resort to just using them for decoration but if they can be put to practical use thats even better.

Pics:
1. I bought this because my SO calls me his little peach...

2. This one I just liked the decoration on the top...

Any suggestions gratefully received :D

You should be able to use them just like any other fork pair. I like to use my Grahtoe microminis in a celtic knot, although I'm not sure if you are long enough for that. Also, braided buns may hold a little better since you have less tine length grabbing the hairs. They could be adorable in double cinnabuns, although you might need Amish pins (or some other hairpin) to help hold them.

What 'Boo said; I'd think you could use them the same way you'd use Grahtoe's micro-mini forks, or NightBlooming's finishing pins. :) You might need the odd pin to help out though.

Use them on the top of whatever bun, then use some pins on the side and bottom that blend into your hair.
