Hey Ladies (and Gents)

I think I might have invented a new braid, but it seems so simple that SOMEONE must have done it before. French Rope?

I took crown hair, split it into two pieces, twisted them, grabbed hair on both sides, twisted again, grabbed hair on both sides, twisted them... and finished with a rope braid. DBF said my hair looks like an ice cream cone!:p

There are a couple of tutorials on french rope braids on youtube. But it looks absolutely great on you!

I will have to try that braid sometime. When I try to do a French braid with 3 strands, my hair gets to be such a tangled mess that I give up in frustration. Maybe I would be able to do a rope French braid.

I love rope braids but I have a lot of layers so they don't really work, but I'd love to be able to do a braid like that one day :)

I LOVE the french rope braid!! And it looks stunning on you! I would love to see your hairtype/color in a french rope crown braid, it would be beyond words... :crush:

That's a gorgeous French Rope braid! You can also do this with more strands.
