I was thinking of ordering a shampoo bar, and came across these:

I like it because there is a variety, the bars are small and easy to travel with, and can be used on hair, body, or clothes. Has anyone ever tried these?

My other question is: Can any oil-based natural bar soap be used as a shampoo bar? I especially like Nubian Heritage bar soaps like this: http://www.vitacost.com/nubian-heritage-bar-soap-raw-shea-butter (or the honey and black seed, or carrot pomegranate)
and was also thinking about this Auromere bar : http://www.vitacost.com/auromere-ayurvedic-bar-soap-vanilla-neem-2-75-oz
Then I won't need to travel or fill the shower with multiple products:)

I believe you can use them but from what I've heard only if they're cold-processed castile style (ie supermarket brands are often just harsh detergents). Also regular soap is more 'superfatted' which basically means it has more oils. So if your hair is very dry it might be fine, but if it gets oily quickly it wont work. although I have heard of people washing their scalp with a shampoo bar & ends with body soap as a conditioner.
