I have been doing an assigment for Uni on soaps/surfactants and also a look at silicones.
I came across this website; although it looks like it's a company website (so can tend to be biased) there is alot of infomation about silicones in hair conditions and a great PDF that explains a fair bit about them if anyone is interested! :)
