One year since pixie. Floored by progress.

I hope I haven't missed much as I've been away finishing school, but, LHC; I'm absolutely stunned by how much my hair has grown this year. I had gone full pixie, a la, Rachel Maddow, and today my hair is resting at about UBL. My hair is tough as nails, too. I can braid again. And, I didn't even have to compromise what color I kept it as coconut oil pre-treatments has virtually eliminated all ills of coloring I used to experience (except the smell. GAK).

I'm stunned. I don't know what I did to deserve these genetics, but heck, I'll take 'em. I'm certain I'm going to have my hair back in no time and I just have to keep doing what I'm doing.

Maybe one day, once genetic therapy gets it's ball rolling a little more my hair genes will be utilized for all of man kind. :D

I think I had 4 half inch trims within that time, mainly to deal with the mullet-y bits and winter crunchies.

I wish the success of my hair growth could be a lotion or potion so I could share it with you.

When I was a kid my mother pretty much gave up on all the cute bobs she wanted to give me because it was too much to keep up with. Now that I am adult, I can't even keep up with maintaining short hair. My hair just wants to be long.

I am also very excited for summer to start. I believe I grew about 3 inches last summer.

My growth rate is one of reasons I grew out the pixie. Keeping that style up was a pain in the @$$.

I so wish mine did too but...unfortunately...it does not. Or if it does it is in no rush to get there. Your hair looks so thick and healthy too. You are very lucky :D
