Where's the info regarding different oils and their absorption by hair is, please?

Somewhere around here is a thread/article/maybe even just a post about the effect of different carrier oils on hair, their absorption etc. I can't find it, it's driving me nuts! Does this sound familiar to any of you? If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be EXTREMELY grateful.

I'm sorry, I have tried searching but "oil" is too short. I've tried other related terms but am getting nowhere fast. I'm so sorry!
