Weird hair milestone!

Ever since I chopped my BSL hair to mid-neck, my go-to protective updo of choice is a messy scrunchie bun in the middle of my head. It's a slightly neater version of this:

As of today, the bits that stick out are too long--they touch my shirt! And if I make the loop large enough that they don't, the bun itself does! Time to upgrade to a new protective 'do! I've never tried hair sticks...it just might be time.

Congrats. I know the feeling of growing I grew into a pony tail then a bun. Now I'm learning new styles.

I had that happen, too! I used a black scrunchie all the time and then I moved on to spin pins. :) It's a great feeling!
