View Full Version : Fork/spoon style hairsticks? Do they exist?!?

In my physics class, I was called out (jokingly!) for always wearing chopsticks in my very busy hair. It's a pretty small class, and we're all friends, so they dared my to "go American" and wear a fork and a spoon instead:yumm:. I tried to trim some plastic ones to size, but they were to short/thick/sharp! and it didn't work. It seemed like wooden spoons were all huge, and that didn't solve my fork problem at all!

Meanwhile, I decided that fork/spoon styled hair sticks would be the world's best walking joke, and now I must have some. I saw a post here for someone selling some they had found on ebay, but alas, they were already sold!:shake:

I need help! Has anyone  seen anything like that anywhere? Have they heard of someone who would custom make a pair? Does anyone own a pair that they seem to have miraculously tired of?

They have forks and spoons for feeding babies that have long handles and small heads, don't they? I don't know if they'd work better, though.

Your question made me think of this etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/NHwoodcraft?ref=top_trail She has a bunch of spoons (in addition to normal hair stuff), but I don't know if she'd do a custom fork to go along with. Check out this listing http://www.etsy.com/listing/74859653/birch-hair-pin-and-spoon
(I have not purchased from this shop, just admired from time to time.)

Lol, this reminded me f the plastic spoons they tape to pens at Eat N Park. I could see myself taping them to chopsticks and having at it!

I think you can get chopsticks with a fork and spoon at the top end. Kind of a 3-in-1 eating utensil. Maybe something like that would work.
