I was given a $30 amazon gift card for my birthday last month, and I really want to buy a nice hairtoy for myself with it. I don't really use any products on my hair except specific shampoo and conditioner bars, so there is no point in ordering one of those.
I don't have many good hair tools or accessories. I have a nice BBB and wooden comb, and a plastic wide tooth comb with smoothed seams. I have a flexi-8 small and medium, and one pair of Lilla Rose hair sticks. I dislike hair claws, the kids take them out and play alligator with them and break the teeth off.
I need/want an XL flexi or a Ficcare-style clip (no clue what size) or a nice acrylic hair stick/fork since I damp bun quite a lot.
So, I guess what I'm asking is, have you ever found anything like that on amazon? What should I look for? I've tried the obvious search terms, 'flexi-8, flexi hair clips, hair clips, hair sticks'
Their selection of hair sticks looks promising, but how do you know what is high quality? The last thing I need is more mechanical damage, ykwim?
Thank you so much for your help. :)
