Last night I made the best French braid pigtails I have ever done. I'm so proud of myself! I did them last night, on the sofa while DH and I watched Stargate. :)

The photo isn't the best, forgive me, it was midnight.

Soo...anyone want to share some pix? Anyone rockin' some big hair today?

Your braid waves turned out awesome! They never work for me :( I can't have big hair unless I do the whole foam roller thing. :(

Thanks! I wish I didn't have 2nd day hair today, I can never do anything with it but updos.

Nice! I still can't French braid to save my life, lol. Even though I had so much practice, they always looked so sloppy and weird and lopsided! :(

Good job! When I started learning to French braid, one braid was quite enough to keep me occupied. Two are still a bit of a challenge for me sometimes.

Your braidwaves look great, too :)

ooh very nice :) glad youre so happy with the result, lovely hair is always a great thing to wake up to.

I've been struggling for the past hour with a french rope braid and ive finally managed it, yay - im hoping it will give me somewhere in between waves and spirals which is closest to my natural hair (unfortunatly my natural curl gets interferred with every night when i have to put it up)

Love it, those waves are very pretty!

I can't do french braid for the life of me, only just perfected braiding my own hair normally! I can braid other peoples hair in every which way, but as soon as it's my own, I cant handle the angle! So well done you!! :D

Very pretty! Double french braids are my favorite, default style.. what I wear most days around the house, and the resulting braidwaves how I usually wear my hair when it's down. I just love them. :)

Thank you everyone. I can not even tell you how many YEARS I have been trying to perfect a French braid. Well, I haven't put much effort into it, but every once in a while I'd try over and over and over to get it right, only to have a lumpy mess back there. I'm not very patient by nature, I guess the trick for me is to be distracted.

One more reason to love Stargate SG1! :p

The braids are pretty and the waves as well. I have yet to try a French braid but yours give me hope.

Gorgeous :). I can do single French braids, but twin ones give me a really hard time mentally.
