Found this online right now, and I know how insanely difficult it can be to find good reliable instructions. Someone was sweet enough to post this for us and I thought I'd pass it on. I've been browsing hairstyles for at least 4 days and JUST found it.

I love those old photos and drawings. They never give enough details though so that someone not familiar with long hair could follow the directions. Back in the day girls had sisters, mothers, grandmothers etc. to help with hair.
