A friend of mine is trying to achieve these curls for her daughter for prom night... Any idea on how to achieve these? Special curler? or rollers?
Thank you in advance :)

I think curlformers would give that result ;)

THank you Manderly! A friend of mine asked about how to do these curls for her daughters prom... I was unsure, but to me they look like they were done with rollers and not an iron...
I appreciate your reply! :)

I would have said a curling wand, kind of like this: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod2490015
They're flipperless so you don't get the weird crimp. It looks like a very pretty prom hair style, though!

I second curlformers :)
I would use the long and narrow: http://www.sallybeauty.com/Curlformers-Long-Narrow/SBS-473025,default,pd.html

I would use those bendy foam rollers or a conical curling iron (large end up). Lots of mousse/gel/hairspray. Don't break up the curls after forming them. Small sections.
