I am making a guide for my co-workers on how to convert them LHC style. But then I realized I don't know some things that I should. I have been looking for a couple of hours and have found a few lists.

Is chloride LHC-approved? Isn't it salt? Isn't that bad for your hair?

Does anyone have list of ingredients you should avoid and ingredients that are good

I am looking for lists of
-Cones list
-Sulfates list
-Chloride list
-Proteins list
-Good ingredients list
-Bad ingredients list

Please and thank you if you can help

Anyone? Please? I've been still looking but am having a hard time. This is information that I think needs to be more mainstream for newbies yet it is hard to find.

I'm not sure what you are asking for...a list of names of sulfates, cones, proteins, etc? Or a list of products with sulfates, cones, or proteins in it? I have a link to one list (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=87347&page=6) of sulfate free shampoos. That's about all I got for now though, sorry :(

Ok here are (some) of the links you requested (I found them here (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/announcement.php?f=9&a=11)):
- 'Cone Free Conditioners (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=2216)
- Protein free list (http://archive.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=46633)
- Sulfate/Sulphate-Free Shampoo List (http://archive.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=34009)
- To Cone or Not to Cone (http://archive.longhaircommunity.com/showpost.php?p=974598&postcount=2) (cone solubility lists)
- product reviews (http://reviews.longhaircommunity.com/index.php) to find the ones that are most liked, worked best. This works well if you find a hair twin and see what worked for them.

Potentially harmful ingredients:
- Is Shampoo Bad For Your Hair? (http://simplystated.realsimple.com/2011/08/04/is-shampoo-bad-for-your-hair/)
- Is Your Shampoo "BAD" For Your Health And Your Hair? (http://www.drug-free-natural-health.com/Shampoo.html)
- How Toxic Is Your Shampoo? (http://www.naturalhealthway.com/articles/shampoo/shampoo.html)
- Your Shampoo May Be Hazardous To Your Health (https://morroccomethod.com/educational-resources/chemical-sensitivity/176-your-shampoo-may-be-hazardous-to-your-health)

The harmful ingredients in shampoo can also be found in conditioners (I know because I've been looking for them in conditioners).

I hope that helps. :)

ETA1: Silicone list (http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/home/silicate-silicone-hair-products-the-real-dirt)
protein list (http://www.curlynikki.com/2009/01/proteins-humectants-and-conesoh-my.html)
Protein, sulfate, silicone, chloride and etc list (http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/curl-products/ingredients-commonly-found-in-hair-care-products)

ETA2: (I keep trying to find all the info you asked for, just give me a min here lol)
Chloride list and information (http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/curl-products/curlchemist-what-is-cetrimonium-chloride)

ETA3:
The whole "good ingredients" thing is subjective, it depends on what your individual hair likes or needs. Some hair needs protein, some need moisture which apparently can only be provided by water but some things can help retain (coating like silicone or coating oils)/attract (humectants like honey and glycerin) it (explanation about how moisture works: Do oils moisturize? (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=93025)).

Cleansing wise it's also all about individual needs: some people need harsher chemicals some need gentler ones. And then there is the whole scalp conditions thing like some people need zinc or other stuff to treat dandruff. What I'm trying to get to is that I don't believe there is a general "good ingredients list" that works for everyone.
