So... I have trimmed my hair like 6 times in the last month. I didn't want to do too much at once and then regret it, but it kept feeling "too" long, which I thought was odd, and it was tangling a lot at the bottoms and thin, although even.

So... after having my very first seizure and landing on my FACE- yes, my face- and having a horrible week, being put on anti-convulsant meds (possibly epileptic, although the seizure was caused from a medication), getting nine stitches in my lip to match my pretty black eye, and being stressed out and loosing a lot of hair... I figured it was time to cut of some more.

SO... finally, FINALLY I feel like I have hit a good length. The ends are even and thicker now and my fingers slide right through my hair. I may actually maintain this length through the summer because of (A) Heat, and (B) To keep thickening it up. I don't "mind" the thinness on the ends as it can look very fairy tale like, but it causes so many tangles and when you swim a lot it makes it hard to wash.

I also found out a couple of months ago that I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. This has made a big difference in my hair care routines as I have a hard time with hair ties now. I also can't use heavy duty clips and RA causes fatigue and chronic pain and sometimes I am just too tired to do anything about my hair. (As you can see, my life has been a pain lately... :wigtongue: )

Okay, on to the pictures! I am just going to post some random crap. I have been gardening like a mad woman (YAY, for pain medication!) and so I might post some of that too, although it is not done. Anyways, I'll shut up now and upload pictures. *taps foot and waits for upload*..... aaaaaaaaaaand, done. Here ya go. :D

Ow, that bruise doesn't look like fun at all. Pretty plants, though! Those do look like fun. :p Garden pictures from other climates really fascinate me; things that look exotic to my eyes are another person's backyard. It's strange to think that the kind of plant life I'm so used to I barely notice it would look equally exotic to someone else.

Ouch! Poor you, you really have been through the mill haven't you. Hope you stay seizure free now - a friend of mine had one single massive seizure last year and no reason was ever found, and touch wood she has not had one sinnce so I hope it's the same for you.
Feeling for you on the RA too, just try and take it easy and avoid stress which I am sure contributes (though I am well aware saying you should avoid stress and you being able to do so are very different!) Maybe your new de stresser could be gardening!!
Healing vibes being sent to you xx

Thank you so much for all of the comments. It means a lot knowing that people care.

I removed the stitches myself a week ago. I am looking fairly "normal" other than the red part of my lip that is healing. I'm on new medication that I am not liking, but hopefully I'll get it changed or the side effects will wear off soon.

I have been working in my garden a lot, and though more needs done, my fingers are hurting a bit too much today. Typing hurts. I may go out there later if I get some energy. I am hoping to get stone blocks this weekend to finish the path, and maybe some rocks, but that may have to wait.

My strawberry plants have arrived! I'll be planting those this weekend. Very exciting. ^___^

OMG your eye and your lip! I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I hope the meds kick in soon. Best of luck dealing with your RA as well. All of this is pretty hard to take. Take good care of yourself! :flower:

So sorry for your health challenges. SOOOO happy you are finding soulful healing in your garden. April and May are my favorite times int he garden. Everyday something new unfurls. All the senses are engaged as well as the appreciation of magic. Heal well.
