Got my first hair Fork

Hello all,
I hope you have all been having a very wonderful day!I know I have. I received my very first hair fork today as a gift from DBF, and its from 60th street. He ordered it off Etsy on Monday of this week and Im so happy it only took 3 days to get here.

I also got to reconnect with Family. They moved back to Wisconsin from Virginia, and I have been so happy all day :D

I might have to wait a bit, im sad to say! :( Sometimes I can twist my hair up just right and get it to stay, or it falls out. A couple more inches and it'll be all good :)

Sooo pretty! I got a victorian one for my birthday but it seems that my hair is too soft/fine to really hold it in.

Thanks BedHead :) I agree, I also love the backside. But Im happy the top is kinda toned down so I can wear it with more things.

That's so beautiful! I love hair forks. I only have one, but it was immediately my favorite hair toy. It holds soooo well. :D Wooden ones always look the best to me.

You might be inserting it in a way that makes it hard to stay in with your hair type. I'd be curious to see what it looks like, and how the teeth are made.

Very pretty fork!

When I first started using a hairstick I had trouble making it stay. My solution was to make a ponytail (with an elastic) and work from there. The elastic gave the hairstick something to go under - and it really helped me get a feel for how to use the stick. I have not used any elastic in some years now, and my hair will stay up all day with just one stick. Maybe this idea could help you too.

Beautiful hair fork, I love all those colors together. You've got one sweet and observant BF; hell will freeze over before my DH buys me anything hair related (not that my DH is mean, he's just clueless when it comes to anything hair/beauty related, but that's ok):D

Very nice fork. Pity that the part I like the most (the greenish in the middle) is going to be in your hair, hence invisible. I think that if I had a fork like that I'd take it out so often just to look at it that it wouldn't really serve its purpose. ;)
