I was just seeing these updos

I'd really like to know how the elaborate ones are done: especially the ones in which the hair stands vertically up with beads or pearls especially the one at 05:10. (Only to wear at home - still don't have the courage to wear it out)... Looks beautiful! :)

I wear a top knot anyway for sleeping, so I could wear this in the evenings... :hmm:

I liked the coiffure with the tiny decorative pins from the mid 1860s.

The costumes were wonderful..especially that exquisite golden gown with the fantastic decorations.

Looks like the hair is covering or covered by something rigid of a suitable shape and then decorated. You'd probably need someone to help you do your hair like that.
