amla with hendigo to cover grey?

I wanted to mix some amla in with my hendigo mix to see if it will cover my grey roots as the hendigo hasnt been taking and im left with grey roots. I was wondering how i mix the amla and how long to leave it before application. Also what ratio of henna/indigo/amla would be best to cover grey.:)

I mixed a teaspoon of amla into my hendigo mix right before I applied it. Did not need much to push the mix toward brown. It covered my greys fine. I would start with less, you can always redo it with more. Good luck.
