Got my hair cut for the first time in two and a half years today! The lady I had told me my hair was in fantastic condition for not being cut in to long. Got loads of compliments, I loved it!

Used "all natural" products, still had some cones, and for my cone free hair that was a treat, it ate it right up and is nice and soft, smells good too.

First we sat down and talked about what I wanted, I told her I didn't want more than an inch off as I was going for length, but that I knew my hemline was in a V and I did want to soften that. I also said no new layers.

Got a scalp massage with my shampoo, it was lovely.

ANDDD

SHE DID EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! It was great, she even wanted to blend my bangs I'm growing out in, and when I said no, she just shaped them a bit and that was that.

If you're in the Davenport Iowa area and looking for a salon I would definitely recommend them. It's called Bella's and I had Tess.

Lovely! I just wish I could find a hairdresser that could listen so carefully. :p Last time I had a cut, just before joining, I asked for an inch off and got almost a foot! XD

I called and asked if they had anyone experienced with really long hair. Because even though my hair isn't to terribly long by LHC standards it is in most realms. I also googled the crap out of reviews to find the best one.

Never thought that I'd be this protective of my hair!

Love your hair! And heres to the hairdresser that actually did what you asked-:applause I have had such bad experiences with some hairdressers that I swear Im traumatized! Id be going there if I lived by you!
