Hey everyone! Long time no see! I will try to post here more often, I really miss it!!
On Friday I got a trim. My mom is a former hairdresser and now she is a dermatologist intern She works in a salon/spa combined thing, and on Friday when I dropped by she said she could dust my ends because they started to look ratty. Usually when she say trim or dust she means like one cm. This time she took 5. FIVE!! Or at least 4 and a half, which put me at upper MBL, from pretty close to waist. I was soooo mad when I came home and looked in the mirror! Oh well. Now the problem is, it's so friggin' short and untapered! I used to be able to do cinnabuns, cheaters nautiluses, seashell buns and lots of other buns that I now can't do because my hair is to short or it's not possible to tuck the fresh ends under whatever kinda bun I'm making. I can do a braided bun and a LWB and braids, but nothing other than that. If my hair had been a little thinner I would probably still be able to pull of my cheaters nautilus and cinnabun. Not that I wish for that to happen though :p So if you guys have any ideas for other ways to put up thick bsl-mbl lenght hair with fresh ends, please let me know! The updos I could do after the chop in april 2011 (double dutch updo, folded braid, cheaters easy stick bun/split bun etc) my hair is now to long for or to untapered to get to look nice. I've been trying to double my folded braid, but it's like making a little stubby pony when you in reality don't have enough hair to pull it off, hehe. So I used the quick buns to kinda wait for the awkward phases to grow over, but now many of them doesn't work either :p

Another good thing, my shortest layers has reached APL so they are slowly but surely catching up. If I would've been ok with trimming off my growth for the next year I would have full lenght hair by summer 2013, I think

Which means that my braids are much neater than before (I know it's loose at different places, I napped a bit before taking the pic and I was too lazy to make a new one

Oh, and I got side bangs a month ago. I was just so sick and tired and ashamed of my big forehead and weird wings behind my ears when I pulled my long bangs behind my ears that I chopped them off, totally on impulse but I'm really happy
