What are some hairstyles that use ribbons?

I love hair ribbons. Something about a classic big black bow or a splash of color with a satin red ribbon makes me smile. The thing is, I can't think of a single style using hair ribbons that looks "mature" .

I love these for example,

but they are all for little kids.

I also love the kinds of ribbons used in renaissance style braids but that's too complex for me to create by myself.

I'd like some simple ideas. Maybe something with just a pony tail using a ribbon, or a bun?

I've used a ribbon in a couple of hairstyles in my "tames the web" photo album. I like them, too, also long narrow scarves.

I LOVE hair taping. Very pretty and feminine, holds like a rock, and distributes weight comfortably! Here's a tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqbAdvL8kME) by Torrin Paige. I have black hair and I love doing this style with light pink, dark green, baby blue, navy blue, or light tan colored ribbons.
